It's back! Finally! The topic in which I chose to discuss is about the NBA season. The NBA was delayed to play games this year due to financial matters. The players were being denied there pay because of the money problems the NBA owners are suffering from. The NBA commitee has not been thrilled with there debt problems for the last few years, and finally, this year was the year in which the players experienced those problems. Some of the players experienced being jobless for awhile. The NBA commitee and the players discussed multiple times about pay cuts and when or if the season would ever begin this year. Finally, mark the date, December 15th is the day when all teams will be re-joining and start their team practices.

I am very glad that the season has finally started back up! Although the talented players may be getting overpaid, they are still very enjoyable to watch! Also, many cities' downtown businesses have been down in business due to the first month being cancled. Indiana downtown businesses are thrilled that the Pacers and their oponents will be returning to Conseco.

  1. I think that it is a great thing that the NBA season is finally back on. Some people aren't NBA fans but I am very glad that the deal was finally made. I am sure that a whole lot of people will be smiling on December 15.

  2. Although I don't regularly watch the NBA I am glad that they are back on. Many of the cities were having difficulties due to no people coming in from out of state. By people not going to local restaurants and stores they're less goods and services to be taxed therefore taking a toll on the city.

  3. I think that its a good thing because even if somepeople dont watch the nba others do, and when theres a team doing well people always will watch. also it does help with businesses and hotels and restaurants and it does have a positive impact on the local companies and businesses and the state itself
