Andrew Luck and Peyton....not a good fit says Archie Manning

Well, pops says it all! And Doesn't dad know best? According to Archie Manning, father of Colt's QB, Peyton Manning, speaks out about the draft and the team for next year. Archie is a smart man when talking about sports, especially the NFL, and of course, talking about his son. Archie thinks that the Indianapolis Colt's would be making a mistake with draftin Luck and continuing on with playing Manning as the starting QB. He says that Luck is already "mature" enough to step right in and be the new team leader for any team he goes to Also, Archie says that Peyton and Andrew probably, in all honestly, not even want to play on the same team together, even though their friendship.

This topic is probably one of the biggest and most often heard about subject for all of Colt's fans. Archie threw out his opinions about Luck and his son playing on the same team for next year, and now here our mine. I think that the Colt's need to continue on with Manning and not forget about, oh yea, the only 4 time NFL MVP ever! Manning could be on the NFL MVP list for this years running becasue obviously he is the Colt's team, pride, and the fans joy! Yes, although he may not have as many years as Luck has in him, but we do know one thing, he is a solid QB who hardly has ever failed on the team. I say, keep Manning, and perhaps when Manning retires, their will be another all-star QB coming to town!

  1. I believe that Andrew Luck will infact be drafted by the Colts and I don't think that Peyton Manning will be in Indy much longer. I believe that Peyton will be playing football just not in Indianapolis. It is going to be a very hard decision for the staff of the Indianapolis Colts to make but you can not pass up a QB with his abilities.

  2. I feel like it is a toss up of what will happen to the Colts next year. They could keep Manning, or they could trade him, it is impossible to tell what will happen. I believe that the Colts should trade their first pcik (assuming they will get it) for a pick somewhere in the top 10, and pick up either a solid running back or a big defensive back player. The Colts have some areas they need to improve on, but the running game and defense needs the most help I believe. Assuming Manning has a few years left, if we pick up a steller running back, (such as Monte Ball or LaMichael James) our offense would be close to unstoppable. If they happen to pick up a big play defensive back (such as Tyran Matthiu), our defense would be solid with Freeney, Mathis, Braket, and Bethea.
